Benton Haas Williams is the owner and principal landscape architect of HAAS Landscape Studio. A Louisiana native born and raised in Baton Rouge, Benton’s passion for design, curiosity, and collaboration has been the foundation of his career in landscape architecture. He is dedicated to crafting exceptional outdoor spaces that combine innovative design with practical budgeting and feasibility, always honoring the authenticity of place while embracing modern living.

Benton began his career in Washington, D.C., where he worked on commercial and upscale residential projects across the Northeast. This experience gave him the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on complex, high-profile designs, honing his skills in site planning, construction detailing, and sustainable design.

In 2021, Benton returned to Louisiana to focus on the residential design-build industry. Since then, he has worked extensively on designing and managing outdoor spaces that enhance clients’ lifestyles, refining his expertise in creating spaces that are both functional and visually inspiring.

Outside of his professional work, Benton enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new adventures with his girlfriend, Taylor.

With a passion for problem-solving, conceptual design, and fostering meaningful client relationships, Benton thrives on bringing each client’s vision to life. Through HAAS Landscape Studio, he is excited to continue transforming outdoor spaces into timeless, personalized environments.
